Dr. Robert Weishoff, DMD, MS – Periodontist and Dental Implant Surgeon
Dr. Robert Weishoff has built his distinguished, more than 20-year career on a strong foundation of empowering patients to feel comfortable and confident. This is no small task, as the treatments Dr. Weishoff specializes in are often complex and can seem intimidating. A Board-certified periodontist and dental implant surgeon, Dr. Weishoff believes in dedicating time to explain every step in the treatment process, so patients feel genuinely cared for and well-informed.
A track record of excellence
Dr. Weishoff demonstrates an unwavering commitment to exceptional patient communication and care, as well as considerable technical expertise. After earning his Bachelor of Science in microbiology and cell science from the University of Florida, Dr. Weishoff graduated from one of the most prestigious dental schools in the U.S. – the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine. While at Pennsylvania, Dr. Weishoff was recognized with the George Bronkovic Award for Service and Dedication.
He continues to stay at the forefront of advances in both periodontal and implant care. Dr. Weishoff refined his skills by completing his AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) at Nova Southeastern University College of Dental Medicine. He went on to earn his Master of Biomedical Sciences and Specialty Certificate in Periodontics from the University of Maryland’s Baltimore School of Dentistry in 2009 before attaining the Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology certification a year later.
Beyond expert care
When Dr. Weishoff isn’t plunging into the latest in periodontics and implants, he can likely be found taking a dive in his pool. Dr. Weishoff also enjoys spending time with his family and friends, and checking out all of the new restaurants that the Cooper City, Florida area has to offer.
